MERCHANT SITE REQUIREMENTS FOR INTEGRATION TO GLOBALPAY

 

  1. The site must have Customer Service Contact information. For this purpose at least one active phone number and an email address must be provided.  There must also be an undertaking to his web customers that all enquiries, whether made through email or phone, would be responded to not later than 48 hours from time of receipt.
  2. Merchant's Delivery, Return, Refund and Cancellation Policy must be stated on the site
  3. (Visa) A page that describes how to make payments on the site and creation of awareness on VbV/enrolment of card must be made available. Also a notice must be placed on the site informing customers using Internet Explorer browser to uncheck support for Use SSL 2.0 by following the steps below
    1. Click Tool option on the menu bar
    2. Select Internet Options
    3. Click Advanced Tab
    4. Scroll down to Security Option and uncheck “Use SSL 2.0”
  4. Must have an active shopping cart / payment engine and a checkout facility on the site (where applicable)
  5. For sites that handle stock items, customer must be informed of stock availability before making payment
  6. Descriptive links to help customers navigate to other pages or make new payments from the confirmation page (for customers who do not use Global Pay’s confirmation page)
  7. Customers can view transaction history for approved and declined transactions. The reason for decline should be included. Transactions are logged with their reference number and status
  8. Complete description of the goods and services being offered for sale
  9. A privacy statement that clearly undertakes not to violate the privacy of cardholders who transact on the site should be displayed to potential buyers on the site
  10. Display of the payment channel logo on the Home Page
  11. Merchant’s test website is available and different from their LIVE website?
  12. “How it works page” that describes how to make payments on the site is available?
  13. Merchant’s website clearly displays all payment gateways/processors using their appropriate logo’s and available card types
  14. Merchant’s test website is available and different from their LIVE website
  15. Redirect back to merchant’s website is successful and return page after transaction is completed displays AT LEAST the following information to the customer
    1. Customer names
    2. Amount Paid
    3. Status of transaction
    4. Transaction status description
    5. Merchant Reference Number for the transaction
